Chair of BCF shortlisted for major charity award

Our hardworking Chair - Alan Bailey, has been shortlisted for the Trustee of the Year award at the 2026 Scottish Charity Awards. He an his wife Carla will be attending a glitzy ceremony on 11th June 2026, to see if he has won.

It’s been a long and difficult journey to achieve community ownership of Bedrule Church, and the campaign was made successful by the generous support of donors and volunteers. But none of it would have been possible without the tireless work of Alan Bailey who put many hours of research and detailed administrative work into making it all happen.

We’ll be rooting for Alan on the 11th, and will hope to hear that his hard work has been recognised!
